Chocolate Ice Cream

Here is a chocolate ice cream recipe that is rich, so simple to make and so incredibly yummy. The best thing about this recipe is that it does not require an ice cream machine and the end result will be creamy and chocolaty. Feel free to customize this basic recipe any way you want. You can add in other ingredients like chocolate chips, crushed cookies, crushed snicker pieces, roughly crushed nuts or crushed kinder bueno bars – so there is always a room for your imagination.

 

Place all the ingredients in a large bowl. Setting the electric mixer on high speed, beat all the ingredients for 5 minutes.Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.Remove from the freezer. Beat with the mixer for another 5 minutes, breaking the frozen part. At this stage you have a creamy mixture.Freeze for another 15 minutes.Remove from the freezer and beat for 5 minutes for the last time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small sweetened condensed milk (78 g. / 3 oz.)
  • 2 cans evaporated milk (170g. /6oz. each)
  • 2 envelopes of Klop-Klop or Dream Whip or your favorite brand (each envelope is 35g. /1.3 oz)
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a large bowl. Setting the electric mixer on high speed, beat all the ingredients for 5 minutes.
  2. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from the freezer. Beat with the mixer for another 5 minutes, breaking the frozen part. At this stage you have a creamy mixture.
  4. Freeze for another 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the freezer and beat for 5 minutes for the last time.
  6. Now remove the chocolate cream mixture to a large container, you can add at this stage chocolate chips, crushed snicker bars or crushed kinder bueno (that is totally optional)
  • Freeze for a minimum of 12 hours. Enjoy!
