Hi, and welcome to our blog!

I am Hadia, the face behind Hadia’s Lebanese Cuisine. I grew up in Beirut Lebanon and I currently reside in Kinshasa, Congo with my husband and my three adorable sons, this was a couple of years ago; now, I am an empty-nester!The kids have grown up, and they moved on to their lives!

Hadia’s Lebanese Cuisine food blog aims to introduce you to Lebanese, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean recipes that are accessible to home cooks and will cheer you and keep your loved ones amused.  Food brings people together in all life milestones from wedding receptions, graduation dinners, or major celebrations like Eid delicacies or Christmas Eve feasts.

The blog talks about my love and passion for Lebanese, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. It is all about my home cooking where I included step by step instructions and pictures with inspiration for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert recipes.

I was raised in a family where food was the source of togetherness. I grew up between my late grandmother who was an amazing cook and my mother who makes the best sweets on earth. With those two amazing women running through my blood, it makes sense to say that I inherited their love of cooking. I released my first cookbook in Arabic in April 2003. The second expanded edition came out in April 2007. The idea of translating my book to English for non- Arabic speakers was always on my mind, and that’s what made me write “Hadia, Lebanese Style Recipes”. The recipes are clearly written with easy instructions and stunning photos so you can look at the pictures and get inspiration. I have included many of the popular Lebanese recipes that I grew up eating as well as a vibrant melting pot of striking flavors from around the world that I discovered through my travels. My goal in this book is to make the process of cooking and baking less intimidating and more enjoyable to home cooks. The cookbook is full of recipes that are accessible for both new and experienced home cooks! You will feel proud serving these recipes to your family and friends. The most memorable memories are made when gathered around a dining table. It is where we spend our happiest moments. I hope you enjoy making the recipes as much as I enjoyed putting them together. I believe that food can be soothing to the heart body and soul. I value the ritual of gathering with my family, friends and loved ones at the dinner table. I have entertained dinner guests with delightful food for the past twenty two years and I always derived an intense satisfaction from it.
