Seafood Salad

A luxury salad packed with proteins and a great dish when hosting a large reception. This mouth-watering salad combines smoked salmon, surmi (crab imitation), baby shrimp and topped with red caviar – all laid on a bed of lettuce and tossed with cocktail dressing! The salad is so rich and fabulously presentable – an indulgent special occasion dish!smiley

Description

A luxury salad packed with proteins and a great dish when hosting a large reception

Ingredients
 

  • 4 cups of mix salad greens shredded
  • 400 g. / 14 oz. Surimi crab imitation
  • 400 g. / 14 oz. smoked salmon slices
  • 400 g. /14 oz. baby shrimp
  • 3 tablespoons red caviar

For the dressing:

  • 11/2 cups mayonnaise use a good quality
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • Salt to taste
  • A dash of freshly grated black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Fill a pot of salted water and bring to a boil.
  • Drop the baby shrimp in the boiling water and cook for 2 minutes. Drain the shrimp.
  • Arrange the green mix salad in a large shallow serving bowl.
  • Scatter the smoked salmon, surimi and baby shrimp on top of the green salad mix. Garnish with the red caviar.

For the dressing:

  • Whisk the dressing ingredients in a bowl and drizzle on top of the salad almost covering the dish. Serve chilled!
