An authentic Lebanese tabbouleh is a lemony herb salad with just a little fine bulgur—a kind of edible garden made mostly of finely chopped parsley, along with tomatoes, mint, onion, and bulgur, all seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and spices. It can be scooped up with the leaves of romaine lettuce or cabbage, or simply eaten with a fork.

Notes
Parsley should be dry before chopping. Make sure to use a sharp knife to chop the parsley. A sharp knife slices cleanly through the leaves, preserving their flavor and preventing the tabbouleh from becoming mushy. One last important thing to remember is that tabbouleh is a way of eating parsley, not bulgur, so there should be very little bulgur.Enjoy! If you make this recipe, share your pictures on Facebook!
