Have you ever had spaghetti with yogurt? Growing up, this was a staple at our house – a staple in lots of Lebanese homes and an easy delicious comfort recipe that uses a few basic ingredients, and can be whipped up in less than 20 minutes.
Ingredients
250g./9 oz. spaghetti
2cupsplain yogurt/Greek yogurt
5garlic clovescrushed
¼cupolive oil
Salt to taste
A dash of chili flakesoptional
Instructions
Cook the spaghetti following the instructions on the box and drain.
In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat and sauté the garlic just for 1 minutes stirring constantly.
Add to the yogurt (including the olive oil), stir well and adjust salt to taste.
Smother the garlic-yogurt over the warm spaghetti. Add a dash of chili flakes and drizzle some more olive oil over your plate, optional! Enjoy!!
