The bulgur and caramelized onions make it reminiscent in a way of the <a href=\"https:\/\/hadiaslebanesecuisine.com\/blog\/?p=9288\">mujadara hamra<\/a>, they both will fill you up without weighing you down, and they can usually be served cold, hot or in between.
